            Okay. Ready?  Well, as you know, the information bidness has been veddy veddy good to me!  And as you also know, I work with over 50 of the most successful info-marketers in the world. Individuals raking in $250,000.00, $500,000.00, $1-million, $2-million and more as “small operators,” many from home offices with only one or two staffpeople (or even none), with emphasis on ‘Lifestyle.’   Also, some in the $20-million to $30-million range with bigger operations. One at over $100-million.  Together, we’ve run thousands of experiments, invented moneymaking strategies and continually refined business models and systems to the nth degree.  Combined, we generate hundreds of millions of dollars of annual revenues with books, home study courses, newsletters, tape-a-month products, other continuity programs, seminars, coaching, do-it-for-them-services like customer newsletters, and more. We sell these info-products by every means possible.  Our group includes people only using old-fashioned direct-mail, a few only using the Internet, a couple using TV and radio, most using both online and offline. There is no greater sum total or quality of know-how about making money with information anywhere than in the combined intelligence of this group. 

            If we were all combined as one corporation publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange, the entity would be valued at a billion dollars or more. Certainly worth more than, say, amazon.com. After all, we make a profit. And worth more than General Motors. We do it with no factories, few employees, and no unions. 

            This is mind-boggling even to me. 

            Frankly, some of these info-preneurs operate their businesses loosy-goosy, by the seat of their pants. Some are a lot more “businesslike” and “organized” than others.  A few are SUPER-organized, super-sophisticated and have complex, multi-step, multi-market, multi-income stream businesses that run smoothly, like well-oiled machines.

I love ‘em all.  It has been and is a fun and exciting privilege to be in the trenches with them – to coach them, write copy for them, watch them prosper, and learn from them. I take enormous pride in seeing Platinum Member Rory Fatt pack over 200+ restaurant owners from all over the world into his boot camp and have more than a $500,000.00 weekend, and in getting a letter from Platinum Member Jerry Jones citing that profits are up 350% over last year.  I could go on and on. There’s a ton to be learned from any or all of these people. 

            And I would point out, most of them have created, and keep reinventing as necessary, the Ideal Lifestyle Businesses.  Both Michael Jans and Jerry Jones choose to live in Sun River, Oregon, and travel to and from there is a gigantic nuisance, but it doesn’t matter because they rarely need to leave – unless coming to meetings with me. Joe Polish may hold a record for fewest days worked in his business in a year. Some are even “part-time.” There’s even a college kid, Jason Juliano, making a good 6-figure income (that’s over $100,000.00) from his one-man info-business, while attending college full-time. The stories, of course, are interesting; the “blueprints” behind the stories are so valuable, far bigger companies would be stealing them or buying them at any price, if the big companies were run by anybody with brains. Anyway, there’s a lot to be learned from any or all of these people.

Bill launched his own, first information marketing business (BGS MARKETING SYSTEMS) June of 1999. His small niche was menswear retailers, with a total prospect universe of just over 5,000. Within his first 120 days, he had lead generation ads running, customers (members) being acquired, his first ‘kit’ done and being delivered. So, if a fast start interests you, he can explain how that’s done. Within 16 months, he hit the 1,000 member (kits sold) mark.  He was an early adopter of ‘forced continuity,’ now used by every Platinum Member (many following his lead) and most of my other clients. His business was profitable its very first year and its profits have grown each successive year. Currently, he has over 3,000 members and has tested a number of other niches, successfully establishing himself in three additional ones, replicating exactly the same business blueprint.  His primary marketing funnel has twelve steps, flawlessly executed.  He has kits, other products, and occasionally puts on a seminar. Although he doesn’t reveal revenue numbers…I know for a fact that the guy doesn’t ever have to work another day of his life. 

Bill uses trade journal advertising; joint ventures with trade journals, associations, trade shows and even manufacturers in his industries; direct-mail; audio-tapes; tele-seminars; websites; e-mail and telemarketing. 

And until 2004, he was doing all of this part-time. 

He has two very successful retail stores of his own in Baltimore. Until recently, he managed the day-to-day operations and is still Chairman of the Board. Of course, he does the marketing for them (won’t trust that to anbody), creating over 20 different multi-step, multi-media campaigns during the year.

Now, I’ve got to painfully make not 1, but 2 confessions to you: 

Confession #1:  I’ve never told this to Bill’s face because I don’t want to give him a swelled head, but at the Platinum Meetings, I’m taking down notes whenever he speaks.  He just has an uncanny ability to see the hidden opportunity in different marketing strategies and business situations. (Shhhh…don’t tell him I said this.)  

Confession #2:  During the Optional A-Z Info-Business Blueprint Seminar, I’m forcing Bill to show you and tell you about a subject that I have NEVER been willing to discuss.  As you’ve heard me say many times, Bill is a more organized businessman than me and runs a much better business model than I care to do.  I know this is what you want to hear about because this is what I get questions about all the time.   Quite frankly, it’s the lousy but NECESSARY part of the business that I hate.  During Bill’s discussion he will be incorporating his model into his presentation and is willing to take questions to answer your particular challenges.

             OBVIOUSLY, this is a very good time to upgrade from Silver to Gold or Gold+, or from Gold to Gold+, receive the lower tuition fee, and attend the Gold+ reception.                             Well, what about the amount of the investment?

             Depending on the pricing structure within your own info-business, we should be looking at the equivalent of one to no more than four front-end sales, maybe one measly boot camp registration. It should require barely one mediocre idea gained and applied to recoup it all!  If you get something really good, and you’ve got a ‘going’ info-business, you might get a 1,000%, 2,000%, 5,000% return on this investment. Frankly, if you have a ‘going’ info-business, this should not be a decision you agonize over or ponder. Nor would I suggest that, as Bill IS capping the number of participants.

             If you’re new or “young” in the info-business, you MUST be at the BLUEPRINT SEMINAR, and you ought to at least come to the Summit as an observer, although you can attend ONLY the Blueprint Seminar if you like, and not stay for the Summit.  Either way, I can assure you, you can pee away a lot more than this very quick, very early, simply in mistakes, over-payments for goods and services, in getting an    info-business off the ground.  This will shorten your learning curve dramatically, and what’s months of needless mistake-making worth?

             Oh, if taking care of this in EZ-PAY INSTALLMENTS is a helpful convenience, the sooner you register, the more months there are to spread your payments. If registering in May, 6 months. If registering in June, only 5. If July, if there’s any room left, 4.

You might even want to come a day early or stay a day late for fun. Very good travel connections in here from all parts of the country, by the way – it’s a Continental hub. Airport’s about 10 minutes from downtown.

             Wrap-Up:  If I was going to pick somebody to teach a blueprint for this business to my best friend or brother, it’d be Bill. Get the blueprint.  And, for anybody serious about maximum profits in the information business, this Summit is THE place to be, THE group to be with.  Small warning: Bill reserves the right to raise the fees without notice, so it’ll pay to register IMMEDIATELY. (Blame me. I’ve taught everybody this trick. The indecisive procrastinators pay more.)

             By the way, people have been asking me to do an annual Summit like this just for info-marketers for some time. It’s not work I was willing to add to my plate. Bill is. This IS something of an enlarged Platinum meeting.
